A project for COM4470. The goal was to choose a real life client and create an advertising campaign for them even though they won't be seeing this project. I chose my favorite wedding photographer and my goal was to expand her photography business to flower services. Services include floral arrangements for the bridal party and the ceremony. The result, a fully functioning website for an imaginary business called The Little Things Flower Boutique.
I used Dreamweaver for this project, designed and created my own buttons and rollover images, as well as a logo for the company on Photoshop. The copy was also my work. Storyboards and flowcharts were used to dictate the layout of the website. I added personalized touches like a scrolling marquee of images/articles under the Press Features section, inserted links to Facebook and Twitter, and added a fake address and telephone number to make it seem like a real business.
