The purpose of my project was to give a radio station that's been on the air since 1983 a website that was representative of its listeners and the djs who run it. Since the station really didn't have a website, I wanted to create a place where listeners could go to get information on specialty shows, contact information, format and more. I also wanted to provide a place for prospective student DJs or members of the community to be able to get information on how to get involved. To do this, I made a fully functional website that had the pages: Format, Get Involved, Studio A, About Us, Specialty Shows, Contact, a link to the station's sister station Radio X and a link to the high school the station is run out of.
Homepage – the “On Air” sign turns on and off when clicked on, and when you click on the boom box, the station streams. Studio A page – it gives a selection of the promos/psas produced by our station, all you have to do is press the red buttons on the soundboard. Specialty Shows - When you click on the brochure on the desk, you can open and close the brochure.
